Patents
Patents, Step Five in the Product Realization Process. After your final prototype is complete you will need to decide whether to patent your product. In Product Development there are a lot of options to consider when it comes to patents and we will make sure you have all the tools you need.
3D Scanning
We utilize 3D scanning for design retrofitting or reverse engineering. If you have a product that is an accessory to another product, or something that needs to fit precisely; we scan just about anything. We scan in high detail and precision objects as small as a LEGO® brick to as large as an SUV. We can also utilize 3D scanning create manufacturable 3D CAD files from handmade proof of concept designs. Click Here for more info about 3D scanning.
To Patent, or Not to Patent
Not every product should be patented, and some products, even good ones, are not patentable. We have been through the patent process for many kinds of patents and products. We can offer our experience with patents, as well as referrals to licensed patent attorneys who can help you explore your options. Should you decide to patent, we will provide you, or your patent attorney with the patent drawings, and other materials you may require for completing the patent filing.
