Olive wood naturally has a very high moisture content. If you keep it wet, it will mold in the packaging, but if it dries out too quickly, it can crack. We tested the wood to find the perfect balance for moisture content that avoids cracking but doesn't mold. The moisture content became part of the product specification and inspection procedure, ensuring consistent quality and no moldy or broken surprises for their customers when they open the box.
